Greetings! My name is Willie Adams from the great state of North Carolina. I am a Jazz, R&B, and Gospel artist. I have been involved in music most of my life. The development of my unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. I grew up in a talented musical family. This meant that I was always surrounded by different forms of music. My parents exposed me to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced my development as an artist. I am quick to point out that everything I listen to directs my musical development in some way. That would certainly include well known artists such as Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Barry White, Wayman Tisdale, Norman Brown, Hubert Laws, Candy Dulfer, Jackie Wilson, and Earth/Wind/Fire. I have been blessed to have written and produced nine CDs since 2005. My first debut CD was released in 2005 called Something Different. It was followed in 2006 by Rock Star in the Ghetto. In 2007, I released an all Jazz CD Time followed by a Jazz and R&B mix titled Ain’t No Powder in the Rain. The year 2008 was a busy year. I released three additional CDs Big Daddy Gotta A Date and Jungle Boy(The Movie). The third release in 2008 was my first single CD, A Change Has Come to America in honor of President Barack Obama and his historic election. In 2009, I released another all Jazz CD, City Hoppin. In addition, I introduced my first Gospel CD with seven tracks entitled, We Come To Praise Hosanna. I have three additional CDs waiting to be released between 2010 – 2011. My website can be found at www.willieadamsjazzandsoul.com and provides a sampling of my music and contact information. Check out my other websites on Jango or MySpace page for further information on upcoming events. If interested in purchasing any of my music, please visit my website above and iTunes. I also have ring tones available through myxer.com. Finally to my parents…who rest in God’s arms…I love you so much! I would like to dedicate my work to the memory of my parents. In addition, I dedicate my work to my family and friends. May God bless each and everyone for their love and support they have given me in my lifelong dreams. Thank you for all your continued support and comments throughout the years. I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me in 2010.
